Disposal options
Accepted for recycling at all Drop-Off Centers except Burlington.
- Hardcover books are collected in a separate labeled area at your local Drop-Off Center. Please keep hardcover books separate from your blue bin recycling. A Drop-Off Center operator can direct you to the hardcover books area at the site.
If the items are in good condition, consider donating them to an organization for reuse. See some local options on our Reuse & Donation Options page.
Two local processors accept hard cover books for recycling. Call them directly for pricing, payment options, and quantities accepted.
