Pumpkins that have been painted or decorated with inorganic materials must be placed in household trash.
Pumpkins that have not been painted or decorated may be placed in compost collection bins at:

- Household trash fees apply to pumpkins placed in the trash.
- Drop-off composting at CSWD Drop-Off Centers:
- If you are also dropping off household trash: No fee.
- If you are not dropping off trash as well: $1.00 per container up to 5 gallons.
At Green Mountain Compost:
- Up to 30 gallons: No charge
