2010 Appliance Round Ups:

FALL: Saturday, October 9
Hours: 8:00 am - 3:30 pm Locations: All CSWD Drop-Off Centers--Burlington, Essex, Hinesburg, Milton, Richmond, South
Burlington, and Williston
The Appliance Round Ups are for Chittenden County residents only, and there is a limit of 3 appliances per customer. Residents are responsible for transporting and unloading all items brought to the Round Up.
Appliance Specifications
INCLUDES:
major household appliances such as refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, stoves, microwaves, water heaters, de-humidifiers, and air conditioners. Note: For safety purposes, please remove doors from refrigerators and freezers that have a latching style handle. You may bring the doors.
DOES NOT INCLUDE:
televisions, stereo components, computer equipment or small appliances such as toasters and blenders.
The purpose of the Appliance Round Ups is to inform residents of year-round recycling
options for appliances and to encourage proper disposal.
Appliances are accepted year-round at all CSWD Drop-Off Centers for a fee ($5 – stove, microwave, water heater, washer, dryer; $10 – refrigerator, freezer; $15 – air conditioner, de-humidifier).
CSWD also offers Tire Round Ups on separate days.
