It's always a shame to toss a perfectly usable sound system, old appliances, or other household items just because they're too old for a charity or reuse store to be interested in for resale. There is now a way to save them from the rubbish pile: Contact James Kathary and he'll pick up a wide array of items free in the Burlington, South Burlington, Essex, Colchester, Shelburne, Williston, Essex, Charlotte, and beyond. Here's what he will take:
"I am interested in all turntables and all older audio equipment, especially tube amplifiers and related equipment, and most 1970's and 1980's solid state audio items. I will accept, without question, any audio gear that is silver in color. Console stereos are on a case by case basis. All free of charge. I also make sure none of these items will ever go to the landfill!
I will also take Danish Modern, fiberglass and other unique furniture, lighting fixtures, home intercoms, Preway (or other colorful) woodstoves, ovens and electric appliances from the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's.
If you are doing any renovations on your 1950's - 1970's home, or need help clearing out estate items please let me know... I may pay you for items that you would normally pay to throw out."
