Commercial landscapers soon required to use Green Mountain Compost in Williston for yard waste drop-off

Beginning August 31st, loads of leaves and yard debris from commercial landscapers will no longer be accepted at McNeil Wood & Yard Waste Depot or CSWD Drop-Off Centers. All landscapers must deliver yard debris directly to Green Mountain Compost (1042 Redmond Rd, Williston).

McNeil will continue to accept clean, natural wood from landscapers, and non-commercial loads of yard debris.

Commercial landscapers should deliver leaves & yard debris directly to Green Mountain Compost (1042 Redmond Rd, Williston).

On Saturdays when Green Mountain Compost is closed, the CSWD Williston Drop-Off Center will accept commercial loads of yard waste on their behalf.

Non-commercial limits

Non-commercial loads of yard debris are limited to 6 cubic yards at McNeil and Williston Drop-Off Center, and 3 cubic yards at other CSWD Drop-Off Centers. Loads of leaf & yard debris exceeding 6 yards are accepted only at Green Mountain Compost.
