Paint a brighter future for Vermont!Local Color Paint

Local Color Paint is the result of a careful process of selection and blending latex paint collected at CSWD’s Environmental Depot, the Rover, and at the many convenient drop-off locations PaintCare Vermont operates.

Every can of leftover latex paint collected from Vermont businesses and residents is inspected for quality and sorted by color. Selected paint is re-blended, double filtered, and poured into pails. The resulting high-quality paint is then sold for about half the cost of new paint ($8-$9 per gallon).

  • Local Color is available in both interior and exterior grades, all in matte finish.
  • Our paint can be applied with a brush, roller or paint sprayer. It is very durable, can be washed and scrubbed, and usually covers in one coat.
  • Meets Green Seal standards for VOCs.
  • Local Color is re-blended from other paint so the colors vary from batch to batch. Be sure to purchase enough for the job!
