Register for the CSWD Recycle Rally: Does your school have what it takes?

Registration is now open for the CSWD 2019 Recycle Rally! We are inviting all Chittenden County K-12 schools to a friendly interschool competition to see who is #1 at “Recycling Right” (and reducing their waste).

What is a Recycle Rally?

The Recycle Rally is a friendly competition between Chittenden County schools that empowers students, raises awareness about resource recovery, and unites school communities around the common goal of “recycling right.”

During the Rally, a team of 4-6 students will collect data on some of the trash and recycling bins in the school. Schools will earn points for correctly using the bins – but that’s not all!

Extra points are awarded for conducting new waste reduction efforts (like holding a waste sort, or setting all printers to automatically print on both sides of the page).

Visit our complete Recycle Rally page for more information, or to register. Registration closes February 22nd!

Any questions? CSWD School Outreach Coordinator Rhonda Mace would be excited to speak with you! Give her a call at (802) 872-8100 ext. 211.
