Residential Depot Appointment

Guidelines:
- Businesses, please call 802-865-4663 to make an appointment for dropping off Hazardous materials or contact us at ceg@cswd.net with your business name and a brief description (type and volume) of what you have. The phone line is not staffed by employees, but calls will be returned within 72 hours.
- For examples of which materials are accepted at the Environmental Depot please see our Hazardous Waste page.
- There is a limit of 20 gallons per day for residents. If you have 20+ gallons, call the business line at 802-865-4663.
- Fees may apply to certain special items or for drop-offs with more than 20 gallons.
- We do not accept trash bags of mixed chemicals, uncontained leaking bottles of chemicals or wet/frozen chemicals or containers. Place containers upright in boxes or totes to prevent them from spilling or leaking during transport.
- The Depot staff reserve the right to refuse improper loads brought to the depot.
- Fuel (gasoline, diesel, etc.) containers with over 5 gallons will need to be left overnight for pick up the following business day. Smaller containers will be returned at your visit.
