CSWD is seeking highly motivated individuals to work at our busy Drop-Off Centers on an on-call basis. Our six Drop-Off Centers throughout the county span a variety of weekly schedules, all of which occur within a Monday through Saturday timeframe. The position can be flexible around applicants’ weekly availability. Those interested must enjoy interacting with the public, must be able to operate a point-of-sale system (training provided), and must be able to keep calm under pressure. Moderate to strenuous physical effort is required, as is the ability to work outdoors year-round. Customer service experience is a plus. Self-starters and those with a passion for recycling, composting, and waste reduction are strongly encouraged to apply. $17.55/hour.

Hazardous Waste Operator/Latex Paint Recycler – floater
CSWD is seeking a Hazardous Waste Operator/Latex Paint Recycler. This flexible floater position will assist with the collection and processing of household & small business hazardous waste and assist with the innovative paint recycling program at the Environmental Depot and Rover. Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, enjoy working with the public, and be able to work independently in a physically demanding setting. Pay rate dependent on experience. Position is open until filled. 8-24 hours per week. Flexible schedule. $21.00/hour
