We are grateful for the community’s continued support of CSWD’s Drop-Off Centers (DOCs). Our goal has always been to provide a reliable, environmentally sound and affordable option for managing your waste.
The revenue that the CSWD Drop-Off Centers currently receive from customers is not sufficient to cover necessary capital expenses such as new compactors and site paving.
We know that no one wants to see prices increase – and we don’t want to raise them either. At the same time, we want to ensure our Drop-Off Centers remain, safe, well-maintained, and sustainable for years to come.
To responsibly plan for necessary equipment replacement and site improvements, we must make modest pricing adjustments that would provide dedicated funding for these capital needs.
We are reviewing four possible approaches and would greatly appreciate your input.
