Vermont E-cycles is a Vermont state program that requires the manufacturers of certain electronic items to shoulder the cost for collection and recycling of their products once their useful life is over. For individuals and certain other entities, these items are accepted at no charge:
- Computers
- Computer monitors
- Computer peripherals
- Keyboard, mouse, modem, etc.
- Printers (desktop)
- Cathode ray tubes (CRT)
- Televisions
