Recycling bin request form

Customers may purchase up to three residential style (16-gallon) recycling bins at any CSWD Drop-Off Center except the Burlington location. The Burlington Department of Public Works is encouraging all residents to use recycling carts instead of bins. Visit the Public Works Recycling page for more information.

Those needing more than three or a different style bin must use this request form. Please enter a quantity for any item you wish to receive; on the next page you will be asked to input your contact information so we can arrange for delivery or pickup of the requested items.

  • Standard recycling bin

  • This is the standard 16-gallon blue bin provided to residents & businesses for easy collection of recyclable materials.

    This form is only for requests of more than three (3) bins. Quantities of three (3) or fewer must be purchased at any CSWD Drop-Off Center except the Burlington location.

  • 16-gallon blue recycling bin.
  • Please enter a number greater than or equal to 4.

  • Deskside recycling bin

  • 4-gallon blue deskside bin
  • These 4-gallon deskside bins are designed for use in an office setting.

    Dimensions: 8"x11.5" at base, 12" tall

    Note: Up to 25 bins may be offered at no cost for businesses. If this applies to you, our Business Outreach Coordinator will contact you after you submit this form.

  • Apartment recycling bin

  • 6-gallon blue recycling bin
  • This 6-gallon recycling bin is designed with a handle for residents that need a smaller sized bin.

    Dimensions: 12.5" high X 12" wide and 12"deep

  • Recycling carts

  • a blue recycling cart on wheels.

  • Some private haulers provide their customers with recycling carts (large wheeled containers with lids) and some may deliver the 16-gallon bins to their residential customers.

    Contact your hauler for cart availability and bin delivery options. Burlington residents should contact the Department of Public Works at (802) 863-9094; choose menu option #3.
